“I’m There…You’re Here” - Bench
The space or gap in the middle has two intended/unintended possibilities.
An idea that when the two people conversing here are making an effort to communicate across differences they are trying to be where the other is. Hence I am there and you are here ...... yes ...stretching it a bit!
The other was that when I presented this among the three designs to my client, he chose this because he had a moon-shaped cushion that fitted perfectly in that gap against the wall!
