Linen Hall Table with Mirror

This was, on paper, one of the three submitted designs for a client ( chosen was the Wind-Blown Hall table and Mirror). The narrow depth of  8" for the relative height is not ideal for stability, but the space was tight.  I chose to make all three  'hall-table-with-mirror' ideas as they presented different challenges and views within the dimensions.

The 'cloth' between the legs gave greater rigidity to this table.

As in other pieces with carved hanging cloth folds, this table has, for me,  a "quiet" appearance.

Material: walnut, paulownia

Dimensions (h x w x d): 36 x 36 x 8

Year Made: 2002
